Zero G Movie
Zero G Movie
In September 2007 Michelle and I flew to Vegas to take a trip aboard G-Force One. We got to take a ride in a modified Boeing 727 which took us up to about 30,000 ft. where we started a series of 15 parabolas. We simulated Martian gravity (1/3 of Earth), gravity on the Moon (1/6 of Earth), and 12 parabolas of zero gravity. We did everything from
playing with M&Ms, trying to drink free-floating water, and acrobatics. We even ran around the bulkhead of the plane kinda like the person in “2001 A Space Oddessy”.
There were a few moments of pure bliss as you spun around untethered in space. I can’t wait to get a flight to a space station! The event was put on by Wired magazine and Visa Signature cards. Champagne reception afterwards and everything. They took care of us. I got the flight for $500. Normal retail price is $3700!
